How to get in touch
For a new connection or to make an enquiry about the Club call our toll free number:
0800 464 427.
Simply follow the automated instructions given to you during your call to ensure your enquiry is directed to the right team.
It’s as easy as calling 0800 464 427 and then:
Select 1 – For LPG connections
Select 2 – For natural gas connections
Select 3 – For Frequent Fitter Club membership enquiries
We’re open between 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
You may get a voice mail service if our team are busy, or your call is outside our business hours. If this happens, please leave a message with your full name, contact number and a brief explanation so we can return your call as soon as we can.
Enquiries or handy tools
If you have an enquiry or would like to order one of our handy tools then email frequentfitter@contactenergy.co.nz. Please note that you cannot get a connection using this email address.
Gas certificates
You no longer need to send us your gas certificates for us to confirm your connection. We will now validate your connections via the Plumbers Board website www.pgdb.co.nz. The name of the new connection entered on www.frequentfitter.co.nz must match that on the gas certificate, and show as being one of our customers. All connections must be registered online with the FFC within 60 days of the connection being made.
If you usually send your gas certificates to your local Rockgas franchise then please check with them as to whether they want you to continue to send your gas certificates.
Should your local Rockgas supplier wish you to send your gas certificates then it is required by us for the specific purpose of validating any New Connections. You have no obligation to supply us with one under clause 48 (1) of the Gas (Safety & Measurement) Regulations 2010.

Natural gas: For the Powerco Network please click on the this link www.getgas.co.nz/downloads. Complete the form and tick "Contact Energy" as your gas retailer to supply natural gas to your property (section 4) and then fax back to Powerco.
